MF utilities

Post by OrionX »

David, have you given anyone the necessary information to start creating utilities for MF? If so, would it be possible to let us know what (if any) utilities are in the works or are planned? I know that there are others that are waiting for the games release but I would like to know if you have selected certain people to help create utilities/mods for MF & what those utilites are. Thanks and I am greatly looking forward to MF. [&o]

I have asked the same question many times. I have also asked if any of the well known FBPro developers were contacted.

The answer has always been a ______________ .

If there were third party developers, we likely would have heard from them by now. After all, this game is two years late, and it only takes a few months to create an editor.

That's really too bad, because some of the E.A. Gelat commissioner programs would have been relatively easy to port over, and they would have really made the game complete from the get go.

I don't undertsand why David doesn't comment on this then. It would be no big deal if there were no mod makers yet. That will all change after the games release. [&:]

Well, I see that David is on the forum. If he is reading or not - I don't know but I sure would like a comment on this since he is the only one who can comment.

I've given a number of people what they need. They've all signed NDA's and after I've review and determined it's not just some guy wanting to see what I'm doing to report to his buddies I grant him access to certain files.

Now that said I'm not sure of the state of those tools. And the DB, even at this point is still subject to change so they may have created some code or ideas based on what they saw and may be waiting until release to finalize (which would make sense to me).

Does the NDA say that a third party cannot state that they are making an X or Y utility?

The VCFL has developed a program for new owners to the league without the game to upload their roster depth charts at each position. To make players active.
When the db is sent back in the commish compares This Week (TW) to Last Week (LW) and then makes the changes to the games file.
