Importing UV Scenarios to WITP

I was wondering if it would be possible to import scenario data from UV form to WITP form. Can a tool be made for this, or must this just be done by hand? Or is this kind of thing just too much work.

I wanted to look in to this, so I thought I would ask some questions here first. I would appreciate any repsonses or insight.

Yes, you could do it.

But, you would end up checking every exported item and changing the slot#s from UV to match the slot#s from WITP (which most likely are not the same).

It most likely would not be really worth the effort.
Probably easier to build a scenario in WITP, and just update the data to matched what was in a UV scenario.

-I´m, btw, attemting to do this with scen#17(UV) and South Pacifi scenario from WiTP. Had some troubles as the OOB for USAAF in WiTP has mostly groups, while that from UV has squadrons. Another obvious trouble is that every ship you put in WiTP scenario will arrive, while you have limits to ship release in UV, so I´m spending hours in combinedfleet.com to see what Japanese ships were unlikely to be in South Pacific by 42-43. I´m considering that Midway didn´t happen but the Aleutians did.
