something a little unusual

Post by BossGnome »

My old opponent`s career has deterred him from wargaming for a while, so I was looking for someone else with which to continue our previous game, started under 1.2 (seems like such a long time ago eh?) I, playing Japan, will give what insight I can into what has happened so far. China is down to 4 main cities with something like 40 units in each. THe rabaul campaign was hard, with strong resistance by the allies, but now the japanese have taken guadalcanal, and a lvl 2 airfield is there. Port moresby is strong and well held. IN the far east the british navy was mauled by the japanese (2 bbs sunk, both cvs presumably in repair yards). Burma road is closed. OVerall state of navies; Japan; 1 BB sunk in the early days of the war by lucky shot from torpedo bombers from singapour. Hiryu, Shokaku, Zuikaku, Ryujo sunk. Allies; 7 bbs sunk, 3 at pearl. CVs Yorktown and Enterprise and CVE long island sunk. IF interested please post. THe date is 5/24/42

Thanks!

I would be interested, I have to warn you though that I'm going away for a week at Sunday.

edit: stupid me... forgot to include contact information :D

Anyway, if you accept then your previous opponent can email the password and perhaps a small review of the situation and his overall strategy to me at string58@gmail.com

that is great. i will e-mail my opponent right away. I am sorry for the long delay in answering, but I think it would be fair for me to say that I will not be able to play in 1 turn/day mode until the 31 of august. Between now and then I can hope for maybe one or two turns. I will notify my opponent at once.

Good luck!
