Ok. I hope PYG doesn't mind if I reveal the fate of war.
We're playing two mirror campaigns.
Campaign I - 2rd turn is done.
Russians managed to withdraw most of their forces and cut off some supply lines what left some German armored corpses without supply.
As it was supposed Russians suffered heavy losses: approx. 6300 squads, 600 AFVSs, 2300 guns and 1100 planes. German losses are irrelevant in comparison to Russian.
Campaign II - 2nd German turn is done.
Russians are fighting tooth and nails for every piece of land. A pretty succesful air attack at the beginning of the war destroyed or damaged 5432 Russian planes. Russians lost approx. 8600 squads, 1900 AFVSs and 3300 guns.
Pavlov was killed in action. RIP.

News from the front:
Campaign I:
Germans keep advancing really fast - they've taken Douvgapils, Minsk and their 24th Panzer Korps reached Mogilev where it has been encircled.
In the south the progress is pretty fast but their two armored corpses were encircled around Zhitomir. As far as German 11th Army is concerned they march toward Odessa.
So far Russians have lost almost 10.000 squads, 1800 AFVs and 3400 guns.
Mirror campaign:
German advance is not so fast but Russians took their toll: they've lost over 14600 squads and 2900 AVFs. Germans are attacking Minsk, Douvgapils, have seized Tarnopol and advance toward Odessa.
The fate of war is still unknown...

07.27.1941 Time for Germans to attack.
Soviet forces failed to comply orders and some German Panzer Corps keep attacking. In the north they managed to break trough Soviet front line southern to Pskov, although the city remained in Soviet hands.
In the centre situation is much more grave: massive armor attacks are being performed near Mogilev and Vitebsk, the mentioned cities are still defended.
South: 3 German Panzer Korps reached Kiev, but 2 of them haven't had supply since 3 turns. They are being supplied by air. Zhitomir is still Soviet.
Rumanian and German forces reached Odessa but city still belongs to Soviets. Germans managed to breaktrough near Human, but the city remains Soviet as well.
Here is description by PYG:
7/20/41 - Weather: Clear.
This week again with the help of clear skies, Herr Goering did a very good job at resupplying the most forward Pz Armies . Nevertheless, Russian are starting to stand their ground. In many areas.
In the North, Hoepner has been assigned the task to push to Leningrad with but mixed successes. He reached Pskov this week
In the Center, the Pripet is almost cleared of bolchevist and the progression westward continued. The 2nd Pz Army has bypassed Mogilev and will try to make it’s way though Smolensk where some fierce fighting is expected to happen.
The 1st Pz Army reached Kiev while closely followed by 6th Army. Kleist of the 17th Army has the task of reducing the pockets of resistance and is already complaining about Pz advancing too fast. The capture of Zhitomir will be tough.
Schobert in the south got reprimanded by Herr Führer for letting the defenders at Odessa escape. He must deprive the Bolchevists of the important harbour facilities of the area within the next couple of weeks or he will be relieved of command.

RE: A camp 1941 has begun!!!
My comment:
Germans managed to break front line in several places in the north and centre, but most of their Panzer Korps were cut off without supply. Heavy fights take place near Vitebsk/Mogilev while both cities remain Soviet.
In the south 3 German Panzer Corps reached Kiev, one of them even managed to bridge the Dniepr. Unfortunately for them their supply lines were overextended and thus they are cut off right now. Soviets have reinforced the area and hope shortage of supply will take its toll and render German units useless.
Southern German 30th corps, who bridged Dniestr near Human was encircled, however in spite of furious Soviet attacks it is still in a good shape. There is still Soviet flag flying over Odessa!

In the north Soviets desperately tried to recapture Pskov and managed to regain the city, leaving one Panzer Corps without supply. German response was swift: Pskov was recaptured, Soviet army was encirled and forced to surrender.
In the centre Speedie Heinz's [Guderian] 2nd Panzer Armee and Hoth's 3rd Panzer Armee performed fast corsair raid resulting in capture of Vitebsk and encirclement of Mogilev which remains Soviet, but that won't last long. Anyhow, the Army Group Centre has made halfway to Moscow.
Zhitomir has finally fallen after being abandoned by Soviets, but another attack against Kiev failed.
There are some good news from Kesselring's 11th Army: Odessa is under siege and Soviet forces hidden behind Dniestr were completely wiped out. The road to central Ukraine is now open.

PYG vs Morphy:
Soviets considered northern front line to be untenable therefore a retreat was ordered, what means Pskov is given away without any fights... But saving Soviet troops from destruction is much more important at this stage of war.
In the centre 2 crucial cities remain in Soviet hands. And one more success: one Soviet army was designed to perform almost certain suicidal mission, but the goal was achived: 3rd Panzerarmee HQ was shattered and over 270 planes were destroyed or damaged. Huge blow to enemy's airforce!
South:
Bad news: 2 Panzer corps managed to escape and join other German forces. Fortunately 1 is still besiged, although they have withstood all attacks.
Good news: German 30th corps, after crossing Dniestr and being encircled surrendered! For the first time since the war began German unit surrendered. Soldiers of 2 German inf. div. and 3 Romanian are now POW.
Odessa~remains Soviet!

Beginning of Aug. 1941
Morphy vs PYG.
Heeresgruppe Nord: Pskov is secured, one Soviet army northern to the city was shattered.
Heeresgruppe Mitte: due to unprecedented partisan attacks (sic!) against railroad Minsk-Mogilev many German units were left without supply... But they managed to capture Mogilev, while Hungarian and Italian infantry divisions were brought to secure supply lines.
Heeresgruppe Sud: Odessa has been captured!!! Kiev is encirled and its garrison has impressed me as they have withstood all fierce attacks. Odds ratio in last attack was 33!
Western to Kiev there are 2 Soviet armies, encircled, which managed to repel all the attacks since they have many, many tanks. The fights are going to intensify.
Soviets considered their airforce to be valuable since they have provided air cover for their units.
Phase 1 of blitzkried is done.
Level of supply has fallen to 8, Pskov is taken, Estonia cut off, Mogilev and Vitebsk captured, Kiev besieged and there is German flag flying over Odessa...

PYG (Ger) vs Morphy (Sov)
In the north Soviet retreat was interrupted by brilliant armored raids and in consequence many units of the Red Army were encircled or left without supply. Second week of retreat was much better for Russians since they cut off plenty of German units and Soviets managed to create new defending line along river Lovat', then Velykiye Luki further south to Vitebsk and Mogilew (all three cities hold by communists). Since Soviets strongly reinforced their air force it became possible to perform several sorties against German airfields resulting in destruction of approx. 600 airplanes. Red air force lost 577 planes and ratio 1:1 is considered as success.
In the centre nothing much happened.
In the south Germans managed to perform one fast raid eastern to Kiev in order to break to besieged panzer korps. In the meantime German infantry push from the west, but Zhitomir still belongs to Soviets.
Near the Black Sea Germans attacked in a few places but Soviet front line along Southern Bug and fortifications remain in good shape.
German losses so far: sqads - 9000, AFVs - 1600, guns - 1650, planes - 2450.
Soviet losses so far: sqads - 30300, AFVs - 3600, guns - 10400, planes - 6700.

Morphy (Ger) vs PYG (Sov)
Heeresgruppe Nord was stopped by Soviet armies southern to Leningrad, after resupplying and reinforcing they'll resume attacks. Novogrod's taken, Velikye Luki besieged.
Heeresgruppe Mitte has seized Smolensk after very long raid of an armored corps, as garrison was very weak.
One armored corps raided behind Soviet's front line along Dniepr, shattered one HQ (approx. 700 planes destroyed), captured Gomel and was joined by another armored corps attacking from Kiev. Two pincers meeting near Gomel created huge whole in Soviet lines.
Similar, smaller, maneuver was peformed eastern to Kiev and 3 strong, tankridden Soviet corps were besieged. That should open the road to Charkov and Poltava.
17th Army have reached Soviet defence lines along Dnieper near Dniepropetrovsk.
Losses so far:
Germany: squads - 3750, AFVs - 1050, guns - 650, planes - 1050.
USSR: squads - 34200, AFVs - 8900, guns - 13650, planes - 9600.

In the north many things has changed. The Germans attacked furiously toward Demyansk and Rzev. They managed to besiege Velikye Luki and capture it. But because of repeated Soviet counterattacks and numerous, successful sorties against German airfields many PanzerKorps were cut off without supply. The Red Air Force managed to weaken many of them and finally 3 of them (including the most powerful unit - 39th Panzerkorps) were destroyed. On Sept. the 7th all German PanzerKorps were besieged and Soviets managed to counterattack recapturing Velikye Luki! It seems blitzkrieg is finished since the Germans have just 1 armored corps which is not besieged. Near Demyansk heroic battles take place: every time the Germans cut off Soviets they counterattack and cut off German corpses... Thanks to that tit for tat besieged German armored corpses are getting weaker and weaker... For the first time since the beginning of war I feel Moscow will never fall.
Northern to Demyansk the Germans reached Leningrad and Novogrod, attacked the cities but they were defended by well entrenched garrisons thus invaders' forces suffered heavy casualties.
In the centre nothing much has happened: both Mogilev and Vitebsk remain Soviet, German armor raid northern to Vitebsk resulted in 2 besieged and destroyed PanzerKorpses.
Southern to Gomel 2 German infantry corpses bridged Dniepr, were besieged and remain cut off.
In the south, near Kiev, heavy battles are fought, during which Soviets accidentaly lost Kiev for one week. The city was recaptured but factories are lost... 2 German armored corpses are still besieged. Soviets finally decided to withdraw from Southern Bug line due to shortages of supply (Germans attacked along the Odessa - Dniepropietrovsk railroad). Odessa is besieged but strong garrison makes sure it will remain Soviet.
We (Soviets) expect 3 more weeks of good weather, followed by October rains. It will be time for both sides to replenish, reinforce, regroup units. Then we expect approximately 1 month of fairy stable winter weather, followed by blizzard. The Germans are unprepared to face it!

Titanic struggles are fought near Demyansk, involving Luftwaffe and the Red Air Force, which was severly crippled. The Germans lost two more Panzerkorps and did manage to create a kind of stable spike from Velikye Luki to Rzhev. Two more German armored corpses remain cut off. One of them has brought Kalinin - Demyansk railroad one more time (it was previously cleared by Soviets). Southern to Velikye Luki Wehrmacht has gathered 2 armored corpses waiting for orders.
Vitebsk and Mogilev belong to Soviets. The Red Army released one army to destroy besieged German infantry corps and the opportunity was instantly used by Wehrmacht: 2 inf. corpses bridged Dniepr, but the Soviets created new front line.
Next to Kiev the Germans inflicted heavy casualties to Soviets. On the other hand they couterattacked clearing some way toward Odessa and Human which still remains in Soviet hands.
