resolution/zoom option

Crown of Glory: Europe in the Age of Napoleon, the player controls one of the crowned potentates of Europe in the Napoleonic Era, wielding authority over his nation's military strategy, economic development, diplomatic relations, and social organization. It is a very thorough simulation of the entire Napoleonic Era - spanning from 1799 to 1820, from the dockyards in Lisbon to the frozen wastes of Holy Mother Russia.

resolution/zoom option

Post by cato13 »

any chance of a larger resolution option being added? especially for the detailed battles.

on a side note it would be great if the devs could make the battle on asmaller scale so that instead of havin 5 units with 10000 , have 10 units with 5000. it just seems a bit silly havin 10000 men in 1 hex. i know u can split units but im not sure the AI knows how to handle this

Not in a patch -- that's simply beyond the scope of a patch. We are considering a finer scale for at least one of the sequels, however.

Note that finer scales make the battles take much longer to resolve. A key design consideration was that detailed battles not overwhelm the strategic aspect of the game so that one could play them without significantly interrupting the strategic game.

Probably not a larger resolution, though perhaps for a sequel.
