Finding retired players

Is there anywhere within the program, other than through a team's transaction file, that I can look at retired player cards/stats? I did not have the foresight to create a database for myself when I started the association[:(]. A future upgrade favorite of mine would be an "Encyclopedia" feature within the almanac. In the meantime, can I find these retired players quickly if I need to?
