Game crash

Hi
When i start the game - no prob
but after selecting the tutorial and clicking on start turn the game returns to windows
When i click on the "befehle beenden" /end orders it runs for the first attack and returns suddenly to windows
Anyone got a clue?
My PC is a P3/500 196MBRAM 32MBAtiExpert2000

I also have problems with the game crashing to the desktop. Try updating your drivers and looking for conflicts resource wise...I have read that there are sound problems, so I updated my sound drivers..Nothing. However, I also have an ATi card; possibly a conflict between the game and ATi cards? (I still haven't solved my problem).

I removed my problem!
I´ve used the german version of the mech.exe

Renamed original version - and tata
game works fine!!

I hope someone from support reads this and tries this mech.exe, too
Would be pleased to hear that my pc is not the only one with problems

Sorry - I don´t think you are using another language pack, or?
My Problem was that i used the german mech.exe(which is provided as mechger.exe - you have to rename it to mech.exe and the original file to something other...)
i just swapped to the original mech.exe which is provided whit the original installation....
think this won´t make you happy?

Well, what i ended up doing is uninstalling and then re-reinstalling the program last night, since then it has worked fine, my fingers are crossed.
