Messing about with the editor.

Trying to add two more nip carriers, Taiho's to sen 15. Have copied the tahio and pasted it in the database in two free slots below the carriers on the list re-named then and set the capitans as random and created new airgroups and assigned them to the two new carriers.

I then saved the new database in to a new slot and saved the senario files into it as well.

When i load the senario no new carriers...

What am i doing wrong?

Have you made sure to assign arrival dates?

Also, check the sunk dates, it doesn't copy right, and the ship will never arrive. Learned that the hard way.

Arrival dates where the same as Taiho's sunk date was lower than the arrival date, that probably explanes it thanks lads!

Just going to convert Shinano to a BB then i'm done.

Will deleting her airgroups course any problems?

Or am i best to just create another Yamato class in a new slot and leave Shinano halted?

Just make her another Yamato BB, and don't forget to replace her CV airgroup with a BB one. You can copy those from the Yamato chutai. Then delete the CV airgroup, to make sure there aren't any loose ends.

In my own "work-on-it-when-I-have-free-time" mod, I've removed the Shinano entirely, and replaced her with a new Taiho class. Much better CV than the lump of uselessness that was the Shinano.

Cool thats what i figured. They have been better cutting her up and building more Akitsuki class destorys with those 3.9" DP guns.
