whats with "cant write to file"

Oh man I am bummed out. I secured a 700 meg block on hard drive. I cleaned out my Temp directory. I sat and waited for computer to defrag. I patiently waited for download to finish. Then I get a window that says "cant write to file". ERRRR why the heck not. Why the heck not. Anyone understand that message and its implications.

Lets see if someone can burn you a CD, but in the mean time: what downloads did you get and try to install? Earlier you mentioned that you had SPWAW running on an older patch. Tell us chonalogically what has taken place since. It still sounds like a DL file problem and maybe a CD will help with that, but it won't hurt to make sure.
