Help with scenario 16 LV (Recon in depth towards the village malin

Hi All,

Is there a possibility to win this scenario? I am trying now for 4 days (holidays [8D]) but the best result i achieve is a draw with half of my core troops competely wiped out.

The attacking cossacks are no problem - but in the village i am always destroyed. My infantry and my three Stugs just can't stop all that dreaded KVs. My infantry is in defensive stance, range is set to 1 on even with experience 100 - 105 the advancing tanks just kick my men out of their cover.

If i hold the ground for a round, i am blasted by 76,6 - 152mm artillery. I think there is also infantry behind the tanks - but i never survived long enough to be sure [:(]

ok - enough whining about a challenging scenario

but has anyone a special tactic for me or some tips for my infantry how to destroy those tanks?

btw - sorry for my english - i hope i could express my concerns properly [8|]

Assume you´re referring to a Mega Campaign Lost Victories scenario? Node 16 - Scenario 49/50 would be "The Elusive Foe". Ist that what you mean??[&:]

Better post those questions in Lost Victories sub forum and always tell specific vode AND scenario number, possibly scenario designer name if present on the map![;)]

It is the scenario Potopov Strikes (Malin-Korosten Area), Node 15 - Scen.41 by Brent richards i was talking about.

I managed to get a moderate victory - but i lost some of my most precious infantry squads. But i think it was more luck than tactical skill that gave me that victory. After that i was happy to escape those KV-Hordes.
