i have come on many times to state that if you properly execute your game startup then the REALISM settings will hold.

i in this same period of time have taken emails from roughly 2/3 of the participants in the DEUL competition that they are unable to keep the REALISM preferences SET.
that they do vary turn to turn.

some have gone to the extreme of installing the proper prf file for each game before beginning play.

i personally have been exposed to 4 games now that do NOT hold their REALISM settings no matter how properly or meticulous the process in placing the files before starting and saving a game.

What gives.
I am really ticked off.

How can anyone be faulted on varying prf settings when they are supposed to be game controlled and are not a result of player tampering.

So what do I do now.
Terminate the competition until this major bug and breach of level playing field play is corrected or do i just terminate the competition.

many players have given hours of effort to getting games started or restarted when trouble occurred.
many players have asked on the FOURM what can they do when the REALISM settings change!

I cannot keep players results if the games as set and designed to be played with certain settings cannot be met with the SPWAW game as is.

Does anyone have a solution?

WOW lets see its been what 18 hours, 8 of which I was asleep. Most of the rest Saturday. Forgive us if I have a life.

The bug is listed as fixed in the Ver 5 bug list.

We believe it has been but have not had a chance to sponsor a beta tournament to know for sure. We certainaly were not able to do this in the las 18 hours...
