AutoJoin?

Crown of Glory: Europe in the Age of Napoleon, the player controls one of the crowned potentates of Europe in the Napoleonic Era, wielding authority over his nation's military strategy, economic development, diplomatic relations, and social organization. It is a very thorough simulation of the entire Napoleonic Era - spanning from 1799 to 1820, from the dockyards in Lisbon to the frozen wastes of Holy Mother Russia.

AutoJoin?

Post by mavraamides »

Is this very effective?

So far, I have manually moved and joined my divisions to corps / armies because it seems when I set units to autojoin, they are much slower reaching the target.

Also, what effect does autojoin have when the target army is full? Does the unit just kind of follow them around? Seems like that would be a good way to get keep re enforcements around.

They (that is, units set to auto-join) should just follow their target around if it's full. They can be slower in particular circumstances -- when their target unit is moving along a tangential path, for instance, but in general there's no rule slowing them down, nor do they move on fewer subphases.

Thanks! That will make it a lot easier to deal with some of my straggler units.
