Black Screen

When using the battle generator does anyone get a black map screen?Everything else is where it should be,the control panel etc...Any help or insight is greatly appreciated.Thank you.

Yes, when I used the battle and campaign generator I had a black screen map. I planned to reinstall SPWAW but when I rebooted and checked it again it was fine. I haven't really attempted any "real combat" yet. Just checking out all the new improvements.

This is an old problem. Its in the old graphic / video code. The only way to deal with this when it happens is to exit the game and restart.
