The on-hand stockpile. As in 781 manpower per turn, 102050 accumulated.

Hi Patrick
Notice your Merchant shipyard points are piling up quite a bit, you can probably accelerate some merchant type ships that you might need. (AR, AS, AV, CVE, MLE) all are useful, and the points don't do any good just sitting there.

I notice you have just 6 points in your naval shipbuilding pool. I bet you are still building Shinano. If you don't halt her (or do something else), Yamato and Musashi will be delayed by 4-6 months apiece. She is an expensive HI hog, and is worthless because of how late she arrives.

Check out this thread.

Hi irrelevant, thank you very much for your post! I went to read your reference thread in Sep 04.. excellent read. [X(] I am beginning to like playing Japanese and I must endeavour to read up on past threads. It would take a while to digest that thread.[:D]
Kind regards

I remember that (your) thread!

BTW, wasn't there WitP user made Excel (".xls") made to help other players to cope with this?

I found / remembered about the Excel (".xls"):

"Japanese ships production spreadsheet" by Cap_and_Gown (availabe at Spooky's)

Do you use it to calculate your naval building?

Don't just stop the Shinano.. Stop all the late war CVs you can. I usually stop CV production for any ship that will arrive in 44 or later as soon as I am able - in my opinion come early 43 IJN CVs are nothing but easy VPs for the allies... I usually plan to mothball them in Japan and use the aircraft elsewhere. By this time the Allies have such air superiority that your CVs at sea are nothing but easy points... Leave them at home unless you need them for a special mission / raid. Air groups on a base cannot be sunk - they can bombed flat - but not sunk and completely lost.
