I agree, all that bullet proof or plexi-glass, and the multi leveled cockpit.

Passing thought. How much differance is there between the Lancaster, the Manchester B and the Handley Page Halifax B

Looks post WWII to me. Is it an early Canberra?

Canberra would have been to small, I think.

Interior construction does suggest WWII or soon there after.

Canope was also a dome on the Canberra.

If you look at the canopies of the Lancaster, Mosquito and Canberra, they're all pretty similar. The Mossie had only two crewmembers, however, as did the Canberra, so I'm going to stick with the Lanc.

The Canberra B.2 (1950) had three crew members. Later versions with the "B-47" type canopy had two crew members, including the US versions.

Hmm, interesting, considering that the data reference I was looking at before I made the above post was FOR the B. Mk 2.

VERY interesting. I looked at another book of mine which quoted the B. Mk 2 as having a three-man crew.

Don't think so. There doesn't seem to be a visible wing above the canopy in the background.

If that is the pilot at top, then the thing must have windows to the right and below the cockpit...as the pilot clearly appears to be looking at something.

It seems way to wide to be a Lancaster..look at the gap between the pilot and the airframe. Perhaps a search aircraft.
