Patching 5.0

Patching 5.0

This may be a stupid question, but I recently got the Desert Fox CD with 5.0 & in looking at your patches would I need to download 5.01, 5.02 & 5.03 or just 5.03?

Actually when you install the MegaCampaign CD it installs SPWAW 5.01 and MC 5.0. The updates are for SPWAW only, then you only need to get 5.1-5.2 then 5.2-5.3. Yes you need to install them individually at this time. The patches are based on problems incurred with previous versions. The only time they can incorperate several updates at once is when they have a major improvement patch then they can spend the time to incorperate them all.

The Mega-Campaing scenarios were designed and testing using 5.01.


We are still looking at how the changes in 5.3 affect playbalance in many scenarios, so be advised that scenarios designed for 5.01 may be harder./easier in some cases under 5.3.

Blame me for that -- Not Wild Bill :D
