Possible missprints

Post by Twonky »

Hi everyone.

I've been reading the forums for a long time awating my copy of LnL:BoH and I'm happy to say it arrived a coupple of days ago [:D]
My thanks to Mark for making a great game, so far everything in it is top-notch and I have managed to enjoy my first scenario, Tamevile Breakout.

However, I did encounter one problem before the game could even start. The scenario stated that the germans should pick out a 1-4-4 Fallschirmjager, I couldn't find this piece anywhere. I was wondering if this was just a missprint or if I am missing something? I also noted this error in some of the other scenarios.

During play I also noticed that the Fallschirmjager MG34 had the BAR rifle on the other side of it, is this correct or a missprint?

I was also wondering if there will be a downloadable errata coming, and if so, when?

Other than that, this game looks to be a serious keeper. Thanks for the great work on making it guys [:D]

Nah. Yer not the only one. I think everyone is still in that "Oh boy, it's here," frenzy. Once we start playing through some scenarios I think we'll start to see some comments.

For instance, in Foucarville, the OOB calls for a German 81mm Mortar WT. It should be 50mm.

The back of the MG34 is correct: the MG34 doesn't need a back, so it has been reused for other "front only" weapons, like flamethrower and BAR.

yeah, CptWasp, I know that the backs use diffrent weapons. My thought on this however is that I thought the Germans didn't use BAR rifles? Please correct me if I'm wrong. Therefore I thought there should possibly be some other form of weapon on the back of the counter.

When I saw them, I thinked they were needed in a specific mission (eg to represent some captured weapons), by I never verified this... now I'm curious too...

In the game, they can capture US BAR. So...

Touché!

But then again the German squad should then use the US BAR counter to indicate it's captured and therefore suffer penalties. If they use their own counter it would imply it's their own weapon and does not suffer capture penalties.
