Screen size

Post by okievit »

Hi guys,

I downloaded SPWaW a few weeks ago, and have been happily catching up since <img src="cool.gif" border="0">

One question, though: the game doesn't go to full screen on my laptop, and I'm not sure where to change that. A friend of mine downloaded it as well, and on his laptop it's full screen...

Considering that there's 3/4" on the top and bottom, and 1" on the sides, I'd like to get around this somehow...

Thanks a lot!

Cheers,
Olaf

ITs likely your laptop video driver doesn't have an 800x600 video mode, so it just shows it as an 800x600 piece of the 1024x768 default display. I had an ACER that did that - it just blacked out the unused pixels

I play SPWAW on my notebook. It displays the same way you are describing. An 800x600 grid inside the 1024x768 screen. For your info though the game is only 800x600 and looks stretched and fuzzy when at 1024x768 on a notebook because it gets stretched. This is a major reason I bought this notebook. Faster of course but it does not strectch the screen. I love it.
