how long till patch

Crown of Glory: Europe in the Age of Napoleon, the player controls one of the crowned potentates of Europe in the Napoleonic Era, wielding authority over his nation's military strategy, economic development, diplomatic relations, and social organization. It is a very thorough simulation of the entire Napoleonic Era - spanning from 1799 to 1820, from the dockyards in Lisbon to the frozen wastes of Holy Mother Russia.

Ralegh, I strongly agree with you as well. Teleporting leads to some real inaccuracies. The real problem is that it can be used as a way to get major forces back to defend a country in short order. If France is mired in Russia they shouldnt be able to surrender to get everything back instantly just because Britain is knocking on Paris' doorstep. I've seen many instances in the game where a country with a powerful army takes it far away from home then a weaker country marches in to the empty country and the weaker country still looses because of the teleport rule allowing a huge army to instantly appear back home again. Especially in situations where multiple countries are at war with each other its just unfair to allow troops to teleport home.

What I'd rather see is that when a surrender happens each country involved automatically has 3-6 monthes to move their troops out of the the other country with no penalties. If they dont move out in the 3-6 month period then I can think of a few options that might work:

1> they have to use "violate neutrality" at that point until they can vacate.
2> Units not removed are destroyed at this point.
3> Units teleport home only after the 3-6 month period expires (this at least gives other countries some warning that troops might be teleporting around).

O.K it has been a week, where is it? Sorry for the impatience, but I am really looking forward to this patch. I love the game now and feel this patch will really improve things. Thanks in advance.

don't think they will match up, files in the save are different now, so think the next patch will need a fresh start

LOL! God love 'em...and it has been a dreary day. Can't wait to get home and fight off the pesky French, Austrians, Spanish and Swedes.

OK, now it is getting serious. As of 6 PM this evening I will be trapped in my house by hurricane Rita....with no v.1.2 to while away the hours....

The highway where the only entrance to my neighborhood is has been designated an Evacuation Route. Both lanes will be Northbound only, so if I leave then I will not be able to get back home.

Bollocks.

I suppose so, however true.

How do you get that sticky stuff that duct tape leaves behind off of windows? I'm gonna use about three rolls tomorrow morning. Tonight, Turkey shall teach the treacherous Prussians a lesson in obedience.

I think lighter fluid is the best bet for removal of sticky stuff.

But where's that patch??? [:'(]

dude i just spent two weeks deep in the bowels of Eastern Europe and half my time was taken up managing the hordes of hungry POW's who would take up arms at the slightest pretext and wreck my economy

all i kept thinking was when i come back i'll be able to install the new patch and well it's not here so i'm afraid you'll have to get in line behind me

I don't want the patch until it's finished and it's up to the developers and testers to determine that. Until they do I wouldn't want to pressure them into making a premature decision by saying "I want it now."

Thank you for taking the time to do it right :)

We changed the waste rules; getting the new rules balanced is taking some work. Also one TCP/IP issue has been slow to debug.

you'll have to work for it, but it can almost be done

there are ways to improve the number of Textile you can get

high Pop does not eat as much food as before

Docks can make you money

Factories are good for you

only hassle, is you/we have to wait for it to get done :) (or is that :( )
