New buttons & Controls

I finally stopped playing long enough to read the manual and found that there are supposed to be new controls and buttons added with the change in resoloution. On my Laptop (Everex Stepnote SR} I can see the top of another box at the bottom of the screen but not enough to see what it is or use it. On my Sony Vaio Slimline the bottom box doesn't show at all. Can anyone tell me what to do to get the whole display to show up on screen? I'd sure like to see what the new controls and buttons are. <img src="confused.gif" border="0">

laptops are notorious for having only a single screen resolution. The game works in 800x600 so if your screen vertical and horizontal size adjustments don't allow you to make the screen smaller to fit, it may be that it is just showing a 640x480 cut out form the larger 800x600 pixel screen.

Try setting the screen resolution to 800x600 before you start the game. If that resolution is not available, then you are stuck.

Thanks for the info Paul. Both my laptop and desktop have LCD Screens. My computer whiz son says to match resolution they shave a little off the top and bottom of the screen then windows centers on whats left. Thus you lose the bottom that has the new stuff. Guess I'll have to get a new computer. Oh darn <img src="smile.gif" border="0"> !! <img src="tongue.gif" border="0">
