pbem help

Post by Big Bill »

I finally got the game upgraded to vs. 6.1 but when I try to set up a email game all seems to go well untill I pick the save slot. When I hit enter the game go's back to the start screen with no game saved. I remember seeing a post stating that a file has to be deleted when you upgrade, if thisis the case can someone tell me how to do it?

Thanks

Delete Steel.prf from the \Save folder.

PBEM autosaves and appears at first that something didn't work. You'll mostlikely find your saved game is there.

Steel.prf is created automatically and/or updated automatically as you play. I wouldn't delete it unless the games begins to exhibit strange behavior. Then delete it and reset your preferences. A new prf file will be made as soon as you use the game again.
