I am willing to play the long campaign as the Japanese player with the following house rules (open to discussion of course)

Scn 15
Stock map
ver 1.6.

Options:

2 day turns so we can finish before we die. I also find it slows down the hyperactive pace of the game and simulates the lack of real time commnad and control that existed. I would be willing to do 1 day turns but that might take forever.

allied/japanese sub doctrines on
Fog of war on
allied DC advantage on
Dec 7 surprize on
Historical 1st turn off
Player defined upgrades: on
variable reinforcements off

House rules:

No allied orders on 12-07-1941
auto victory will be overridden on 01-01-1943 but will be assummed to be in effect on 01-01-1944. This keeps the Jap player from going for broke and winning at the end of 42 but keeps the allied player from running and hidding until 44.

No japanese landings on the other side of singapore (including India) until singapore has fallen

Sub transports can only unload at freindly bases (to prevent recon by sub)

No invasion of the USA until 01-01-1943 (See Mogami's AAR "Beer made me do it")

I should be able to do 5-7 turns a week depending on how much time "She who mst be obeyed" gives me on the computer

I would be interested in playing 2 games (one as each side with these rules) but would settle for just playing Japan.

I warn you up front that I will hit Manilla on Dec 7th and not PH. If you find this gamey let me know and I will provide my expalination why I think it is not (Basically that War Plan Orange was based on this happening minus that part about carriers)

E-mail me if this sound good to you. thc3658@aol.com
