Are you sure it's not a River Class Frigate.

Even though it is American, I think the PF's were built by Vicker in Canada.

Which would include it in the River class.

Just checkin[:)]

Never mind just checked

PF 1 & 2 were built by Vicker in 1942
PF3 was built in Richmond, California in 1943
