Steel Panthers 3 sound issue

Finally got SP3 to work with WinXP, but my sound is very scratchy! ANy ideas! Ive tried all the drivers in the list, but only the %100 sound blaster works and its still scratchy!

Your lucky it works at all!!

I recomend purchasing a very inexpensive pentium 2 and installing win 98 SE.
Unless you or someone you know allready has one lying around.
Your not going to get that old dos game to function flawlwssly under XP.
Simply wasn't designed for it.

I run sp3 on my athlon 1333 mhz (win 98 SE) but it periodicaly locks up.this is not really a problem as long as I save games faithfully.
