Unable to start SPWAW after changing displays

Post by robdam »

Just changed monitors from old CRT 19" Princeton to 20" NEC LCD 2010x. Since then, I have been unable to start SPWAW. I get the menu then the SSI/MAtrix Games Splash screen then back to Desktop. Any suggestions, (except go back to old monitor!), would be much appreciated.

Try running the game via the Mech.exe file thats in the games root folder.

The games EXE file runs the video intro before the command screen comes up. The MECH.EXE does not. So I would say it was an issue with either your screen resolution/size and trying to play the video intro when you tried to use the games EXE.

Just keep using the MECH.EXE.

Happy to have been a help. <img src="biggrin.gif" border="0">
