Divided Galaxies crashes out of game

Divided Galaxies crashes out of the game to my desktop after I've been playing it for awhile. (Windows XP, 1.4gAMD, 512mb ram, 4+gig hd free, GeForce Ti200 video card)

Rebooting and reloading the saved game doesn't help. It will crash again pretty quickly. Just got the game a couple days ago and this has happened on 2 out of 2 games. I play for a good bit, late in 2nd age and early in 3rd age, then it crashes repeatedly.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Forgot to mention I'm using the 1.1 patch for Divided Galaxies.

If you have the saved game that causes the consistent crash-to-desktop then I'd appreciate if you could attach it to an email and send it to support@apezone.com

You'll find all saved games in the Games subfolder of your installation. They have names like autosave.sav

Next time post in the Divided Galaxies forum as I don't check posts in this forum that often.
