NO ALLSTAR GAME

Post by Silverbullet »

I started an Historical League with the 1940 teams.
I used the 1940 historical schedule but there was no All Star Game.
This never happened before the Gold Edition.

There's never been an all star game. Do you mean there was not a PSPN all star issue?

Yes, that is what I meant.

Actually, I'd reported this sort of behavior a lot earlier, several releases ago - it seems to be related to specific historical and relatively unbalanced schedules - I had both 'no All-Star issue' and 'two All-Star issue' bugs, but I believe Shaun has fixed them for the schedules I was seeing.

There was a PSPN All Star reference in my second season BUT quite a few players were listed twice.

Yeah, that's usually a result of there being two All-Star issues. In the first issue, each player is listed once; in the second issue, every player is listed twice.

I never saw this before.
How can this be corrected?

I think giving Shaun the exact year and schedule you used is a great start - I found it was 100% reproducible for the schedules it happened to me on. Presumably Shaun will be able to debug it from there.

For yourself, you might want to exclude those particular schedules in future, at least until the bug is fixed.

There's never been an all star game.

But one is on the way in Puresim 2006, right? :)

Thank You Amarog.

I used the Historical 1940 real players, and when asked if I wanted to use the 1940 schedule I replied Yes.
I don't know of any more info I can give.

So, 1940 schedule --> no all-star issue
1941 schedule --> doubled all-star issue?

I think that should be sufficient.
