Command posts is 350, but main battery are 380 maximum (they are 150-380).Maybe you mean barbettes which are 340.

Thing is, you can only have one rating for armour; there's no provision for hitting in the one place where the armour is thinner. Good thing too, it would just be something else to develop a bug...

Oh, and no offense intended (believe me), but I've found three written sources that say the Bismark carried four aircraft.

Ok,time to elaborate future strategic plans

After conquering Malaya troops troops there will be assigned in Burma and India.Imperial HQ decide to attack India.First of all we must secure Rangoon in Burma then search for the best landing spot in India.Fist thing will be to conquer Ceylon.
Any thoughts?

After Phillipines is conquered troops there will be assigned to Australia.We have ongoing invasion of Ambonia.
Invasion force for Rabaul is on the sea and slowly moving to Rabaul.In Rabaul i will left two naval garissons and plenty of enginers squad to develop large base.
PM is also to be conquered and develop to be huge base.This is essential for upcoming invasion of Australia.I must work fast.Becouse of speed i assigned so many troops in Philippines (200+).Speed is essential for fate of all empire.
KB i will keap unnoticed and engage only if prey is worh of it.Baby KB will provide support with 100+ aircrafts.
SSD resting in Guam,when they needed i will have rest and bloodthirsty soldiers.[:D]
GH is strong opponent so i develop something i call,erratic tactics.Hide KB,hide baby KB,strange big invasions etc.
I think i manage to hide several divisions,whole carrier fleet.He must have serious headache of where those divisions will appear.
With that tactic he cant do anything with his carriers becouse of dont knowing KB wherebouts.Probably he going to rest in Pearl and listen of distant Japanese victories[8D]

Last several days are so boring,troops unloading in San Marcelino.He evacuating Clark.I plan to strike Manila with 4 divisins,3 eng reg. and support units.That should be enough.[;)]
Ships picking up Imperial guards,i plan to use them in Singapore.
Burma ops is going slowly,month will pass till i reach Moulemein.
I make mistake in China.I sent troops north of Canton instead directly to Wuchow[:@]

That's the "fun" part of fighting in Burma. The transport infrastructure is non-existant, so it takes forever to get from place to place.

Hey H,

I think you are slightly overcommitting at Rabaul and PM.
You are going to find around 100 AP in each place and I doubt GH will take his carriers out.
Of course overcommitting means also "nice and easy", no surprises, which is always good. But at the same time it means a higher consumption of fuel and supplies and a slow down somewhere else.

How can you have enough troops for India already? [X(]
Are you 'printing' them? [:D]

We reach enamy perimeter.He has aprox. 60000 troops north of Johore Baru.

We liberated Clark field,after some rest troops are going for allied last stand in Manila.
IJA has 150+ troops in Clark,four of them are divisions.That will be enough.[;)]

PACIFIC

Invasion fleet is six days from Rabaul.After we close to Rabaul ships with SSD will land while the others go for PM.In this campaign codename "Bird of prey" we assigned almost 180 ships.
KB is still unnoticed.
I except more damage from his subs,right now they fire 50 torp to 1 hit[:'(]

BURMA

"Indian fleet has a new base,Tavoy.Kondo is already ordered to masacre ships flowing in Rangoon.[;)]
Fleet is one hex from Moulemein unnoticed,hope to intercept convoy he sent there.We will see.
Those days are being very bad for his AVG squadron,100+ zeros is wipe out all fighters arround Rangoon[:D]I think there are most AVGs.
I wait 33th division to push to Rangoon.All is to slow in Burma.

MALAYA

Our brave troops push the lousy britts to Johore Baru.Now i must wait Imperial guards and one regiment to make a final push.I guess that Singapore will fall within a 20 days becouse of my mistake,i forgot to reroute Imperial guards.Anyway,he will be constantky bombard with 150+ aircrafts.I will blown his a## to pieces.[;)]

BORNEO

Today we sat sail for Palembang.35th brigade will lead the attack with help from our Heavy cruisers strike force.Strike force will bombard Palembang before landings.I overcommiting forces there becouse of bitter experience from last PBEM.Palembang must fall on first assault!
Tarakan is undamaged and goodies start to flow to mainland.[:D]
Only worries me is subs.He manage to sink several my cargos which are lucky to be empty.10 ASW TF is dispached to deal with these bastards.

Imp.Guard loading at Singora,when loading is finished they wil disembark in Mersing,assuming empty.If Units are present in Mersing Imp. will land in Kuantan and go overland to meet other troops.Then we will make a final push.

It is painfull how thing go slow in this area.I must take Rangoon ASAP but till february i cant do much about it.Airport in Tavoy have 140+ zeros and 80+ bombers.That is enough to close Rangoon airport.33th division is still enroute to Rahaeng.Slow,slow...

SPZ

Invasin fleet are 120 miles from Palembang.I dont care about his forces i care for oil there.Huge overcommit is ordered here.

PHILIPPINES

4th division finally disembark in San Marcelino,when this guys reach Clark i will attack without mercy.
5 infatry group and enginer group march from Clark to Battan.I must disable coastal guns and clear the mines there.

Invasion group left Davao,destination Amboina.

STRATEGIC OVERWIEW

MALAYA

Everything is ready for final push to Singapore,
25 army:3 elite divisions,5 brigades.
After some more prep. points and rest we will make slaughterhouse in Singapore.I think that we will be ready for four days.
Singapore is every day heavily bombarded.
Also i am sacrifice 5 MSWs to drain more supply from Singapore by entering to "clean mines".
In ten days everything will be over in Malaya.

BURMA

Moulmein is heavily bombarded every two days.I must stop his eng. units to make fortifications there because i am advancing with only two divisions.After campaign in Malaya is over two more divisions will go to India.I think that i will make invasion in Diamond harbour.i must work fast.

SUMATRA

Palembang oil is undamaged and life line for Islands is established.I put 70+ nells and bettys on airport there to wreck havoc his shipping lines in Jawa.

JAWA

Strange,very strange.It seems that ships go in and out from ports there.It means that he decide to make stand in Jawa!!!

Troops are massing in Manila,transports sent to Canton to pick up 38. and 55. divisions for reinforce and help our attack on Manila.Baatan is holding,i decide to sent 4th. division to push allies to the sea.

How so? By making him expend ammo on the MSW?

You should succeed in invading India if you attack fast. But you'll (most probably) need some time of rest for your Malaya divisions after the capture of Singapore. And it may be dangerous to invade India before Java is taken.

Even KB is not invulnerable, especially in the somewhat restricted waters of the SRA. Your opponent is a good and experienced player, thus be careful here. And once he knows were KB is, he'll have some operational freedom elsewhere. You should be able to take Java without the help of KB!

Speaking as an alternative point of view I have seen several players hit Java without enough force and either take a very long time to win there, or end up stopped outside of Soerbaja.

Maybe you should be able to take Java without KB, but maybe it will fall faster if you use KB.
