Betas may be followed by alphas and zetas.

We've received great feedback from the members' release of the beta. In response to this we've identified three critical issues in the new code, and about six other bugs that we'd like to address before the public release. Additionally, the consensus seems to be that the new economic rules are too generous in allowing nations access to many resources. I'm nearly done attending to these issues and hopefully we'll soon be able to release a new build as a members' release.

There's a new manual in the works; can't say precisely when the final formatted version will be ready. There's also an "Economic Whitepaper" that is almost ready -- the whitepaper has details on all of the economic formulas used in the game.
