Rebel with a Cause

Crown of Glory: Europe in the Age of Napoleon, the player controls one of the crowned potentates of Europe in the Napoleonic Era, wielding authority over his nation's military strategy, economic development, diplomatic relations, and social organization. It is a very thorough simulation of the entire Napoleonic Era - spanning from 1799 to 1820, from the dockyards in Lisbon to the frozen wastes of Holy Mother Russia.

Rebel with a Cause

Post by Russian Guard »

Playing Russia (both v1.1 and v1.2) I have near-continuous "revolutionary forces" irritating me with their silly rebellions.

I say silly because they have no gripe; National morale is pegged at just short of Nirvana for the great unwashed, yet these clowns continue to pretend there's a problem and revolt.

Seriously, is there a way to limit this? Perhaps reduce the level of Feudalism?

Courts? Pfah.

The people do not need justice, I rule benevolently by decree.

Courts, eh? Makes sense in a way. I'll try it and see. Thx.

I think all other infrastructure expansion should be able to quell rebellions or nip them in the bud, as long as the rebels are those who air their out-of-job grievances. Give green light to more pork projects.
