How much time do you spend playing WitP?

The previous thread was badly misunderstood and only one or two people got it so here's a much simpler version. Just for curiosity sake so new players will know what they are getting into. Please comment. [:D]

I guess it depends on how many games u got going. I have 3 PBEM games going, and I spend around 15- 30 mins each turn. After nearly 1.5 years of experience I consider those turns to be processed real fast.

When I was laid up after a stint in the hospital and an R&R vacation, I guess I spent 8-10 hours a day playing or working with the puppy. 2ndACR and later Mogami used to get through a month of "game time" every week in our PBEM games. I only play one PBEM at a time.

What scares me is Mgami has a half dozen or more PBEM games going simultaneously so I suppose he looks like one of those Psilon types from Masters of Orion...almost all cranial with a shrunken pizza and beer bloated body.[8D]

Given time zones I play before I go to work and play when I get home from work. I'm kinda old now (50+) so apart from occasional forays to eat and socialise with people it fills the rest of my life...........

Maybe we ought to start a WITP Anonymous group?

How on earth did I spend my time before WITP?

Actually I think I spend as much time on Matrix WitP forums as I do playing WitP. Alas, it's all the social life I have. [>:]

Remember the time before WitP? It was called the "Age of UV".

Love the game and could spend all my time playing; but the prolonged inactivity of sitting caused a clot to form in my leg and gave me a heart attack.

Spend about 1-2 hours each weeknight, more on the weekends. A few weeks ago before I got back to work was either on the forum or doing turns for something like 3-6 hrs a day.

Hi, I have 13 "active" games and 4 where the other player has stopped responding. And no my head is not swollen nor body shrunk. I have to stop playing and leave the house (VFW) to drink beer. I also run 8 teams in CSFBL and play COG online on sat and would love a multiplay online game of Medieval Total War.

90 minutes is my best guess....

That ensures that I can play 5 PBEM turns in my five 1941-46 campaign games.

World of Warcraft was a passing interest for me. Right now I am playing some of the Tiller line of Napoleonic Battles and the Panzer Campaigns. I am also playing some interesting board games. Whistling Death by J.D. Webster published by Clash of Arms and Paths of Glory published by GMT. I also try to play a game or two of ASL when I get the chance.

I just got my serial number for WITP back so I will be installing it again tonight and trying to get the updates. We will see how things go from there.

Ben
