haha, women just don't understand....[8|]

I'll still get an occasional ribbing from the OKW (OberKommando der Wifen) about my Alpha Centauri playing days...

She happened to glance at the screen once a long time ago and saw that I was playing as "Morgan of the Morganites"...

Years of verbal abuse accompanied by the "L" on the forehead gesture ensued....

The game doesn't "Show" any of the action........

Look here dear....see, the aircraft is dropping bombs on the evil Axis merchant ship..

"Big deal, we should see little men running and jumping off the ship!...."

Yes dear.....i'll have MikeW work on that new routine.....

WTF is a life?

Hey Nik, if she wants you to leave WitP alone for a while, go play with the WPO beta for a while. That should be enough change for her. [:D]

GF wants me to tell you that "She is not pleased......at all"

Just tell her you can have more fun with Betty, Kate, Jill, Judy, Val, Sonia, Helen, Sally, etc.....[:'(] That ought to get her to leave ya alone for awhile.

P.S. I wouldn't tell her about Oscar, Frank, George or Irving though.

After 16 years, Civ II still has me in it's clutches LOL!!!
Now CIV IV has me in it's evil clutches!

Now, she has certainly a lot of names for you, doesn't she? Horse, Dog, Geek, ...

The 'Look of Death' - isn't that the ultimate weapon that already ended a couple of games in the AAR section

You have 5 minutes or so during "Training ship crews" when nothing is happening so go satisfy her needs and get back in time for the next turn's orders phase.

Oh and by the way, we are nerds not geeks. [:D]
