Automatic "detailed battle"

Usually I play only with quick battle but today I decided to play some detailed battle.
I have played some detailed before, and it was ok, but this time, althoug I restarted the PC and I loaded the game twice, the three times I begann the detailed battle it went directly into an automatic detailed battle, was imposible to stop. Just like bulldogs, there were fighting and I had no chance to do nothing but look. I played piano with the keyboard, with no result. Amazing. I have the game saved. Is that a bug? Am I cursed? Should I go to church?[&:]

Do you have the tactical combat advisor turned on? If he's turned on, he fights your detailed battles for you.

If not, please zip and send the save game (both .sve and .rep files) to ericbabe@west-civ.com. I've never heard this bug report before, so my *suspicion* is that you just had the tactical combat guy turned on.

Okay, Eric, that was, the tactical expert. I have all the experts turned off, I believed, but somehow it was turned on.
