Hi!

I thought Norm would never get the chance to update, what are IMO, some of the best wargames ever made.

Congratulations to ALL involved in this endeavor and am anxiously awaiting the fruits of your labor.

This is wonderful news, and I just wanted to throw in my thanks to Matrix on this one. I am prepared to buy any and all toaw products put out by matrix.

There are two 'old' wargames I keep on my computer, toaw cow and tacops. Toaw is imho the best computer wargame ever made. Again, this is wonderful news.

Hey Vince

Hmm- well I seem to have lost a lot of posts. Oh - look I got a promotion. I'm part of the Elite Guard know. Promotions in absentia...

When I heard about this, I was shocked. TOAW was my first wargame, and I bought every version of it as it came out. I brought the scratched Century of War CD to Germany, and now Iraq. Don't play it mcuh anymore (sometimes the file dosen't save correctly, and I can't play a scenario in one sitting).

This is amazing news. I threw my lot in with Matrix a few years ago, and I'm glad they haven't let me down. Met a lot of good people because of the game, learned a hell of a lot from it too. I'll pluck down my hard earned cash for the new version, even if it's its just a few bug fixes and can operate on XP better.

This really is great news. Like many others, I was very disappointed with what happened with Talonsoft.

This will take a long time to come to fruition, but it's nice to have something we know is this good to look forward to in the future.

You wouldn't BELIEVE the hassle it took to get my old profile back. But it was worth it... somehow Matrix feels much more comfortable with it.

If 'SHERMAN' is still in the field, can't we get together to get him a 'disk polisher' ? Usually that's all it takes to make a cd run finestkind, eh? Not like this will cost more than $30 us, eh? I'll put up a pledge for $5.00 just to see if others will, eh?

Mine has brought back cd's that looked like scrub-pads were used on them.........

Well?

Sometimes. Didn't work on Civilization: Call to Power.

Anyway, if Steve Hosfield (hi Steve!) can actually access the files on the CD at all, he should be able to copy them to his hard drive and use the No CD patch.

Hi David, things have been going alright. Getting by. Surviving. Every day above ground is a good one, I guess.

:)

How are things with you? Business appears good and that is nice to see.

It has been a while. I'll send you off an email, got to show you some pics of my boy. He's 4 now! I remember speaking with you on the phone the day he was born. :)
