With help of 4th division Baatan finally fell.Now Manila,everything is ready.

KB sail towards Tarakan,within five days our carriers will be in vicinity of Jawa.

AFTER ACTION REPORTS FOR 01/16/42

MALAYA

Our brave army enter yesterday in Singapore.we only manage to get 0-1 in first shock attack but allied losses are severe.I must take Singapore asap so i will reinforce troops there with 35th brigade and several SNLF units.Disruption of units in Singapore is almost 60,i am ordered four days of bombardment and then we can deliberate again.In that time 35th brigade will arrive.

BURMA

He bombard my 33th division every two days with B-17,its a pain.I ordered two zero squadron from Tavoy to LRCAP above 33 division.I am hoping that would be enough.From Tavoy 15 Army marching towards Moulmein.Becouse many troops is needed in other war areas, right now 15 army have only one division,55th.After Singapore falls more divisions will be dispatched to Burma-India area.

PHILIPPINES

Time has come,troops from Clark marching to Manila,i manage to get there 38th division from Canton so now i have four divisions along with numerous eng.regiments,tank regiments,artillery units.It will be enough.
We are land on Cebu island,this is only base except Manila that he has on Philippines.[;)]
I manage to stop his subs completely,they are running or sinking[;)].

BORNEO

Balikpapan is Japanese.I manage to organise extraction of goods pretty well there.Numerous convoys with oil and resources going for Japan,some are filling Saigon and HK.Brunei oil is only heavy damage but repairs going well.
KB is in Tarakan.Main base for KB will be Balikpapan.From there KB will support our effort in Jawa area.

PACIFIC

Any idea where is CVs are?
I don't think they are anywhere near PM, hence the bay KB should be more than enough to face LBAs.
Anyway one CVL can hardly make a big difference.

You could send a couple of empty AKs on the possible approach routes of his carriers.
You'd have some warning and time to react should they be indeed nearby.

For sure GH is no fool, that's why I'm always worried.

If you are confident that the carriers are in PH then there's no need to wait for one more CVL, the LBA available in Australia in the first months of war is powerless even against a mini-baby KB.

hi, noticed that you are going for Palembang (and you had problems with oilfields).

no need for rush there... I'd secure Batavia and Singapore first (the latter is not a must, it is enough to isolate Singapore). After Batavia start "minor bombing campaign" from the sea, air and ground (bring arty there). when you starts to think no enemy left live, repeat your bombing campaign....how long? no less then a week!

bring there support troops - eng rtgs, but also you can try with all those small construction units . Although their combat value is near to zero (pretty sure that they cant destroy fort level) somewhere i read that they can help to keep your oilfields undamaged during attack. Well i don't know if it is true but i will certainly do it in my games.....

STRATEGIC SITUATION

MALAYA

Attack on Singapore is going slow,third time i get 0-1.I am reinforced Singapore forces with 35th brigade and several SNLF units.Next 5-10 days i will only bombard the place.After my units gets a little rest attack will commence.I cant do anything in Jawa before Singapore falls.Forts are 6,it is gonna be a hard time for me to break it.My time and patience runs out.I think that Singapore will hold till february[:(].

JAWA

I am in great doubt here,many ships activity reported in Jawa.This means three things:
1. He is reinforcing Jawa with troops becouse all transports i sink is empty.
2. He is evacuating Jawa troops to safety.
3. He puts a bait to KB
After long meeting in Tokyo we decide to,
he is reinforcing Jawa,2 and 3 is impossiple becouse of his lack of PP.But with which units he is reinforcing Jawa?He can only reinforce the place with brittish units from India.Imperial chief of staff decide to lunch two plans.
PLAN "A" - After fall of Singapore all units there will rush to Jawa,simple plan
PLAN "B" - KB is close to Jawa,it has orders to attack.If we encounter 100+ plains there (fighters,bombers etc.)it means that he is reinforced Jawa with brittish troops.That means he is left India unprotected.If that happens we are lunching attack on India with four divisions,means 150+ troops.Jawa will be left alone.
It is great gamble.Anby thoughts?

PHILIPPINES

In Manila is stalemate.Both sides suffer great losses.I am pulling two more divisions to quickly seal this campaign.After this divisions arrive i will have 6 div. there.More than enough.

PACIFIC

CVL Shoho tomorrow will arrive in Rabaul.Then SSD and 2nd division will attack PM.

It is great gamble - but you can always hope fortune will favor the bold. One issue - in the long run - will be oil and resources. If you leave Java to the Allies, you still need enough oil/resources to feed the production machine. So somehow, some way - that must be addressed ... and it won't get any easier as time goes forward.

Also - while you are way East - what will happen in CENPAC - that isn't as important - but gives Allies more opportunities to mess around.

AFTER ACTION REPORTS FOR 01/28/42

I ws extremly lucky this day.KB attack port of Soserbaya sinking ships there.I manage to sink several DDs one CL and submarine.
He engage KB with Beuforts and other obsolete plains from Soserbaya and somehow manage to break Zero protection with heavy losses on his side,but two torpedoes struck Akagi[:@].
Becouse i was west of Jawa i am making great gamble,all KB will cover wounded comrade to safety,that means that i must repeal another attack.Becouse of damage Akagi taken(flt 50,but right now no fires and sys at 14)i must take shortest route to Balikpapan.
Akagi was escorted by two deastroyers and covered with KB.All fighters on KB are on 90 CAP.
Akagi can make 20 knots so we rushing to Balikpapan.The night falls and his damned PT boats rush to engage my ships.Two BBs hit by torpedo but minor damage.I am survive the night!
Day is come and he lunch attack from Soserbaya,zeros this time did a good job and he score only one hit with bomb on Yamashiro and one DD is hit.Tomorrow CVs are on safe.
I am really furious right now,Akagi will be away approx two months becouse of repairs[:@].
He has 48 units on Jawa[X(],that means India is unprotected.As soon as Singapore falls i am going for India,he will pay for his ignorance.
Manila is bombard every day and soon will be only dust.

MALAYA-BURMA

Troops in Singapore resting before attack,probably one more week.
In Burma 33rd div. will tomorrow enter the Moulmein while other division and tank brigade will arrive 1-2 week later.

After another deliberate attack on Singapore we manage to gain 2-1,forts are now four.I think that Singapore will hold for four days.It holds too long,but i am confident now.

SUMATRA

Last day my recons saw 100+ bombers on the airport of Batavia,nells from Palembang go for attack but airport was empty.He probably move planes to Soserbaya.He reckoning with B-17s,that means he is going for my oil and resources[;)].
Palembang and Balikpapan are full of zeros,each has 150+ fighters.

PHILIPPINES

21st div unloading in San Marcelino,after this guys arrive in Manila we start our attack.Manila has 2500 AP.

NEW GUINEA

PM fallen after one charge of dreadfull SSD and 2nd division.Now i will develop PM to maximum,and Lunga too.
