Christmas gift?

Post by Nordiska »

With Christmas quickly approaching, is this a game I might have under my tree? Or should I tell Santa [:)] to bring me another game to tide me over until this title comes out in 2006 (hopefully).

The game, in its physical form, is perhaps too heavy for the fragility of the tree's branch. Or unhangable in its digital form. ^o^
If the game is really miraculously out of its lair, a party will then deserve to be thrown at Marshall's, though I may find myself absent from it for the game's sake. [:'(]

Hello all:

This is not an official update but I can tell you that it would take a small miracle to make a Xmas release. EVEN if final code were done today, it would take Matrix some time to print documentation and start stamping discs and box her up! From final code to release, usually takes a month or 2.

NOTE: I say small miracle but then again Xmas is the time of small miracles, right ;-)

We'll git-r-done!

Thank you

Thank you

Would I receive a drumbeat of castigation if I broke this news across to the COG forum?

I'm not being a pessimist. I was asking you if that is what you meant. I have said several times in my posts that I'm a patient man and will wait for a quality release when it comes. However, sometimes our patients wears thin.[:D]

I am a realist; I don't believe the game (at least in its acceptable form) will be available this year. (shh~)

By the news, I was referring to Marshall's thinly-veiled hint at the scant possibility that the game may break out of its lair "miraculously" by the end of this year, at which, I believe, the COG forumers will very likely hiss and boo - given so many years of frustration of their hopes. But there is always a flock of new comers who readily express their earnest of keeness in writing positively in response to the news.

I hope this remark won't make people feel negatively in any way. ^,^"
