Then there's the cat...(otherwise known as "stupid cat") which just sits there.....being stupid. (that is when he's not feasting on my stereo headset wires.....))

This is easy to cure. Plug the headset into the hot side of the power socket when you go to bed. [:)]

Cat gets zapped, and when you wake up: "Honey, does it smell like a Chinese restaurant in here?"

I found that my "cat toss" needs work after the 2nd time it ate my stereo head phone wires. [:@]

The oven is sure looking more and more inviting.

LOL Nik. I can picture it now you sitting on your couch. Guinness in one hand, cat in other. Looking at the cat and the open oven door and judging the distance.

Swig your guinness........

Wheeeeee. Cat goes flying. Damn! Hit the rim.

Nik swigs his guinness again.

Gets up and lumbers towards Oven....

Note to any PETA activists hereabouts: Nik and Speedy really are that deviant and should both be placed in tiny little padded rooms for the good of humanity.

pfff.....my GF....now HER cat toss is perfect. Never forget the time. I'm sitting on the couch.....watching TV....all of sudden i hear this shout....i turn my head to the left just in time to see a cat come FLYING out of the kitchen, spinning head over tail like a frisbee, landing on the coach arm with a soft THUD. Cat hits the ground and without missing a beat dashes into the bedroom. Apparantly the cat had jumped onto the counter and was about to lick the pot-roast.

Now THATS what i call a good cat toss. [:D]

Cats are the only animal capable of self-tossing. Did you know that? Yep!

To demonstrate, wait until the cat is engrossed in watching outdoor wildlife. Take a very long stick and poke it in the ass. The cat will toss itself about 3 feet into the air, followed by a half roll and power dive to a four point landing and horizontal takeoff, roadrunner-style.

With the accompanying puffs of fur floating down, it looks rather like a strafing run through flack.

I have an easier method and its PETA free....

Just let a couple flies in. The cat will toss itself trying to grab one out of the air. Sometimes it's better than TV!

Letting flies in makes Wife 1.0 attempt to defragment Husband. This is a painful and unhealthy operation.

Actually, I'm doing a worrying survey on myself to see which is most worrisome. Currently, it's about 50-50, but myself hasn't been very cooperative doing the survey...

Ah...one more reason not to upgrade GF 1.0 to Wife 1.0 [:D]

Be careful. GF 1.0 has an auto-upgrade routine that kicks in after you've had too many beers.
Attempting to restore from backup can fark your hard drive up permanently.
