Some new screenshots that resemble the final project. And its alsmost complete!

Image
The various models of Japanese planes. Yes, 2 versions of the Pup and Sparrowhawk. Each has a land version, and a special version for use on the Battleship Yamashiro.

The two Sopwith pups. The first is one of the three used on the Yamashiro in 1921-1922, the second in standard colors.

Image
VP-1 and the Curtiss H-16 flying boat.

Image
And a nice surface combat to round out things.

Big news coming. As you can see, the art is completed, and I just killed off the last of the scenario bugs. So it won't be too much longer!

Sigh. Your hosting site is blocked by my firewall...

Photobucket, I believe?

I troll the forums at work. It will be another 8 hours before I get home to see your new screenshots.

No, as the Yamashiro had a flying off platform over B Turret. Catapults wouldn't be introduced until 1923 for the USN and 1924-25 for the Japanese. I had to use float fighter to get them to work correctly in game, but in actuality they are the same as their standard land based units.

(Historically the platform was removed in 1923, as the whole thing was to train pilots for the new Hosho. However, in game Yamashiro retains the platform until she is given a catapult in 1924, and becomes identical to Fuso.

No.... it was a twin mount. 10 16" guns, 4 forward, 2 center, 4 aft.... the 2 2 means 2 guns, twin mounting. 4 then 2 means four guns in twin mountings (hence 2 twin turrets).

No. It's a double turret. First number is the total number of barrels, the second is the number of barrels in that particular mount. For this mount, the two numbers happen to be the same.

EDIT: Damn, Tanker! 43 seconds!

Fine, if you want to be HISTORICAL about it[:'(]. Now the line is blurred between simulation and game. Ooops, sorry. When do you start on War Plan Black and War plan Red?
