Vanilla copy

Ok, busy installing as I post this. I have learned my lesson from WITP and given space on hard discs is plentiful I'm intending to install then copy the vanilla copy across to a backup location. This way any updates/ patches/mods I apply will be on a working version and I can always go back to the original by simply copying the folder back across. At least that's what I could do with WITP if I'd been clever and kept a vanilla copy.

The question is simply will a straight copy to another location on my hard disc work in the same way as it does for WITP.. or does it need a second install?

I expect lots of developments as regards patches and mods.......

It should, since it uses the WitP engine, but I've never actually tried it...
