4th Marines???

I thought the 4th Marines were stationed in Shanghai at this time? I see the 15th Infantry. I can not find them as a separate formation. Are they incorporated in the 2nd Marine Brigade in San Diego? Are they somewhere else and I missed them? Thanks

The 4th US Marines arrive at San Diego in 1924. The 4th Marines were deployed to Shanghai in 1927 (They left San Diego on 28 January 1927). The latest campaign starts in 1926.

You can send them to Shanghai, but at start they are in California (except in the 1922 campaigns).

Thanks I was not sure. I thought they deployed overseas in the early 20's.

In the early '20s (from 1916-1924) they were stationed in Santo Domingo, then California (1924-1927), then Shanghai (From 27-41), then the Philippines (From 41-42).
