Running on Win98

Crown of Glory: Europe in the Age of Napoleon, the player controls one of the crowned potentates of Europe in the Napoleonic Era, wielding authority over his nation's military strategy, economic development, diplomatic relations, and social organization. It is a very thorough simulation of the entire Napoleonic Era - spanning from 1799 to 1820, from the dockyards in Lisbon to the frozen wastes of Holy Mother Russia.

Running on Win98

I know this has been asked before but I can't find the thread.
Can this game be run on a Win 98 PII 400 MZ. with a decent amount of RAM and a video card?

Don't know about your CPU or RAM but I have been running it successfully under Win98. Had to download a file to make it work (was listed in an earlier thread). However, my cpu is an Athlon 2400 and I have 512Meg.

Was this the file, MFC42D.DLL?

I'm running CoG under Win98, but also on an Athlon 2400+.
With CoG 1.0 I had a crash each time I r-clicked on a unit, the error window indicated a problem with MFC42D.DLL file. But with the 1.1 patch the problem just disappeared and everything is OK now.
But I don't think 400 MHz would be enough to play the game, at least 1GHz seems the minimum.
