can the rates of fire be alted by the editor?

They seem to part of the "Effect" number, so I'm pretty sure they can't.

Sure they can. But SHOULD they be? Probably not. Remember - you can CHANGE the effect value. But you need to be careful. I know someone who put a 16 inch gun on a minesweeper - but it is silly to do things like that. I suppose you could make a 16 inch gun fire like a machine gun - but why?

A little know fact the ME 109 shot down more planes than any other plane in history!!

And the tiny, unarmored Val sank more ships than any other plane in history.

The value entered in the accuracy field is directly derived from rate of fire and can be changed in the editor.
