My light surface forces from Hong Kong successfully wiped out a convoy of supply ships in the last turn.

Argus' air group put in an air attack on a Japanese BC in the vicinity of Taytay; only its escorting DD was damaged, whilst an unsuccessful sub attack was also prosecuted in the vicinity on another Jap BB.

Subs have successfully hit a Jap CL and a tanker in the area. These movements are suggestive of a descent on Borneo, which I will accordingly respond to. I am hoping that Argus may be able to get a few more attacks in.

Japanese light forces probed Hong Kong this turn: no doubt to locate my capital ships. They were eliminated, and a sub in the HK region was destroyed.

My subs indicate that his forces continue to move to Borneo - including his BBs. My subs have launched inconclusive attacks on these, whilst light cruisers (including Courageous and Glorious) have fought an indecisive action with a decoy(?) force of cruisers.

His line of attack seems to be to keep to the east of the island with Taytay on it, then come through the straits between that island and Borneo to his LZ.

As predicted, his amphibious forces have arrived off Brunei, although the coast defence forces have mauled his troop transports. Two have been sunk and he has lost around 1000 troops and 20 guns before even getting ashore. He has, consequently moved the trasnports back out to sea. I expect he will use the dreadnought covering force to dispatch the coastal defence forces and soften up the defenders.

I am hoping my subs can help out in this!

It appears that I'm successfully sucking the enemy into a meatgrinder in Borneo. His land forces have bogged down against the Brunei garrison, whilst a light cruiser squadron under Glorious has mauled his remaining dreadnought BBs and BCs. Carrier airstrikes and sub attacks have been unsuccessful thus far on these forces, but I hope that if these ships have sustained damage it may make them more easy pickings.

Well, the enemy are bogged down in Borneo and are attempting to reinforce it; they are unaware that I have reinforced with an Indian Brigade. However, Japanese forces have landed on Hong Kong, around 12000 men in all. Their landing has suffered heavy losses, with several transports and destroyers being sunk by coastal artillery, whilst losing 1000 men in the process.

My fleet is racing back from the South China Sea to try to intercept his forces.
