Just read about international version already including patch 1.040.

I bought my GGWAW 2 days ago in Rome from a Mondadori bookshop. The 1.071 patch installed OK, but the 1.04 one keeps telling me the serial number is incorrect. Of course it isn't. Have I understood correctly that the int'l version of GGWAW sold on a CD already has the 1.04 patch in it? If so, why the hell doesn't it say so. If not, what's the problem?

The International CD ships as v1.040 already. If you installed v.1071 you are fully up to date.
