Greece and Norway

Post by TheVen »

Do Greece and Norway warrant the time and cost to invade and garrison? Any experienced PBEM players ignore either or both of these territories?

I ignore both fully. I dont think they are worth the effort at all - except if you only lack a few resources to win an AV.

im not a very experienced pbem player but i share the same view as Jan.

cost of invade is not an issue but the cost of garrison can be annoying. of course, if the Med Sea (in case of Greece) or the Isles (in case of Norway) is in GER's control then i think it worth to take Greece and/ or Norway.

Thanks for the confirmation. I've been taking them playing the AI every time but it didn't seem necessary. I guess I was doing it simply because it was done historically.

The reason you dont need to do it is because you can get most of their resources anyway via trade as long as you have a transport nearby. Sometimes the allies will get some trade when they supply russia.
no battle plan ever survives contact with the enemy
