Uhhh, where'd my Guard go???

OK, in my first PBEM game, the Imperial Guards are marching merrily down the Malaya Peninsula.

They have reached....I forget the base name. A few hexes north of Singapore, anyway.

If I place my cursor over the LCU icon in the map, the popup shows all my LCUs, including the IG.

However, if I then click on that to bring up the LCU list to give orders....it isn't there.

Yes, I made sure that INF units were not being filtered out. In any case, I am not quite sure what to do...I considered ordering another unit to attack, and clicking "Set all to attack" to see if the IG joins the fun, but if it doesn't...well, that would be pretty bad.

Any suggestions?

It has probably been ghosted. The actual unit is probably located in another hex, the one it was marching our of being likely, but shown as being in a different hex. If you give it a few days it might catch up with its own symbol.

You might be able to access the unit info by calling the unit from the lcu database

Alternatively, the IG has a nasty habbit of teleporting, but this does not sound like a teleported unit problem.

Ghost units occured a lot in v1.6. It was meant to be cured in v1.602 nbut I have a had some problems in 1.602 as well.

With all the advantages given to the Japanese units you mean we have to deal with teleporting divisions too!! [X(] [8|]

I know, there is another thread at the moment where the IG teleported straight to Townsville. Talk about stroke of luck. Now if he can just get a HQ and another division in there he can clean up [:)]

oh no... don't even get me going on my teleported IG div that went from Chittagong to PM to Townsville...

Talk about screwing up my invasion plans![:(]
