Looking for a Japanese replacement player

Post by Arstavidios »

Hi, I've got a campaingn currently stranded in mid october 1942. It's the May scenario. So far the action has been in the air and in China. Naval losses have been subs and a few transports and escorts on both sides. The Japanese situation is sound though some air groups need training. Air losses have been high on both sides withthe allies gaining the edge over the last weeks.

If someone is intersted please let me know.

Yves.

What senario, what version, and what house rules?

It is the Vanilla May 1942 grand campaign Campaign scenario 13 I think 1 day turns.
It was started under 1.4 so no PDU. I'm gonna update to the latest beta patch to match my other opponent. I have big synch problems and no combat and intell reports with my other game atm.

House rules were no night port and airfield attacks. ASW TFs limited to 6 ships, Russia is off limits andyou pay PP to move land units into or out off China and Kwantung. Both Japanese and allies.

I can do a turn most week days. Sometimes more on week ends.

Someday I'll remember what AFAIK stands for. But in the meantime, I'll take it that animations are ON. Personally, I always run with them OFF. That way I;m not stuck in front of the computer to hit the OK button for it to progress. Turn off animation and in game combat summaries and it runs alot faster. Yes, you do give up some info, but that's ok with me.

I might be interested if you're ok with turning the above items off (assuming it an be alternated after the start of a game, never tried before).

Combat animations and combat reports can turned off in game in the preferences menu.
I can send you the save so that you can have a look at the situation if you're interested.
