Hint = The plane is/was a new medium bomber that was captured by the Germans, after occupation they were so impressed by it's design they pressed ahead with trials.

They scrapped the plane in 1939.

Whatever you say... The only plane I can connect with the Avia name was the Me-109 clone they produced after the war.
