Airpower and COTA

Post by Tzar007 »

Does airpower works the same in COTA than it did in HTTR, or are there some modifications ? Not that the tactical handling of airpower was not correct in HTTR, but I was wondering how for example air recon assets could become modeled in the game...

The same except that airstrikes may be canceled due to bad weather in the pattern. Also, there are now count down timers in the UI (see tips thread) to help prevent the player from forfeiting the strike unknowingly.

I don't think we will see a real overhaul of this system until the Vietnam version is released.

Vietnam version ? I must have missed something [:D]

[EDIT]

Oh, never mind, I just read one of Arjuna's post about the different design teams and that there is one team looking at Vietnam...
