Flak traps...

Eagle Day to Bombing of the Reich is a improved and enhanced edition of Talonsoft's older Battle of Britain and Bombing the Reich. This updated version represents the best simulation of the air war over Britain and the strategic bombing campaign over Europe that has ever been made.

Flak traps...

Post by zuikaku »

... and where to place them (in BTR). What are the areas that AI plotted raids usually fly over? I've noticed Amsterdam as one of these. So, I moved those 10,5cm and some additional 88s in that city. Do you know any other cities that often lies on the paths of heavies? Do you use flak traps vs. AI, and how effective are they?

Well not sure if this is a good subject :)

but as you say, the Amsterdamn area is a good one, my BC like to over fly the whole thing, so stock up all in the area, even going so far as the Radar sites close to it

Early on, you know the Allies are going to get hit with the UFAC manatory targeting, so those are good ones also

the Brussel area is also good, plus you can load up on low alt guns, as Sweeps, fighter bombers tend to over fly this area

down the road, the V-sites will be prime flak traps

hassle is, we hope to get this worked out better, but the Current AI, will sort of follow the same paths, and not plot to avoid some areas
